Founded in 1989 Oakcrest Lumber Inc is a family owned company that has dedicated itself to excellence in production as well as customer service. The Weaver family is very hands on in the day to day operations of the company and has surrounded themselves with quality competent employees throughout the company. The sawmill has seen numerous upgrades in equipment and expansion over the years. In 2005 and 2006 the company expanded the dry kiln capacity in Buena Vista, Georgia and built the unfinished flooring operation. The latest expansion is the new drying facility in Newport, TN it is strategically located with easy access to Interstate 40 and in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains known for its abundance of high quality hardwood lumber. Oakcrest has invested in its commitment to serve this industry now and for years to come.
